Google Shopping was seeking a local Los Angeles artist to create a vibrant mural that celebrates Venice's unique culture and supports small businesses run by women, Black people, and members of the LGBTQ community.
We worked with Crisselle Mendiola an illustrator and muralist based in LA, to design the mural for Google Shopping. Specified products from local small businesses were included in the design and shoppable with your phone. Crisselle's colorful and playful design captures the essence of Venice Beach, featuring iconic characters such as surfers, bodybuilders, and rollerbladers while highlighting each product.
